On Beauty

Beauty reminds us. And it re-minds us. Beauty brings clarity. Beauty encountered in the world prompts us to confess our eye's inner beauty, the beauty inherent in our vision, and then relationship between world and eye is softened.

This relationship is perceiving; the softening of this relationship is the softening of perception. Beauty redeems perceiving. It is in this way that perceiving that heal alienation which is a misperception. And the healing of alienation will redeem the world, gradually one moment of perception at a time as well as instantly in one moment of perception.

Beauty is a path.
